Commission | Little Amigo

Commissioned to illustrate a grey wolf and red mouse for the client's wife, who loves these little critters. I was given a lot of creative freedom so I could explore a range of ideas, comps and poses. I chose a more Disney influenced style, focusing on rounder shape language, coloured lines and gesture!

Version #1 I liked the idea of the wolf in a dog's play bow or resting pose as if it was excited to greet it or woke up to the sight of the mouse. My pose and anatomy skills could definitely use some work for this wolf but the client was very pleased!
