Gibraltar Literary Festival Animation - Shadow of the Rock

Produced at Wright Tech Media, I lead art and design. As part of the marketing campaign we created for Gibraltar Literary Festival, I made a series of 3 shorts, 30-40 seconds in length. Featuring the thrilling, crime & mystery genres in 'Shadow of the Rock' by Thomas Mogford. The scene describes the protagonist, Spike Sanguinetti entering the area discovering a mysterious man standing outside the door.
Based on the location of Chicardo's Passage, in Gibraltar, as described in the book. We arrived on location and planned out our shots, taking photographs where needed. Though photos were taken during the day I was able to design and paint the night scenes relying on yellow light and dark purple and white lines to create the desired mood.
The finished film. The turnaround time was intense but im happy with the end product.
