Secret Santa | Merry Kako Lil' Roni

Another year, another secret Santa with friends. In this full-body character portrait, I have drawn my work colleague as part of our office secret Santa. From Birkenstock sandals, striking white toenail colour, clothes to explosive curly hair, I've tried my best to capture her personality and look. Her partner was certainly amazed and convinced, belting out a joyful "look at that!" to the eventual glare of my colleague haha.

These pieces function as a great challenge as my goals/criteria shift to - how can I satisfy the recipient - which I seem to tackle with as much personalised content as I can efficiently fit, something that combines our history of inside jokes at work, funny events and highlights of our time together.
